Magna: lighting and rooftop divestitures

On April 9, Magna announced definitive agreements to divest its Lighting business through two transactions and its Rooftop Systems business through a third. The company states that these businesses, part of its Power & Vision segment, generated around $1.1 billion in combined 2025 sales, with closing expected in the second half of 2026, subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals. Magna did not publicly name the buyers in this release, but it distinguishes one acquirer for Lighting operations in North America, South America and China, and another for European Lighting plus Rooftop Systems.
