Chery’s Qurio has been bestowed a 2026 iF Design Award – an award, established by the German Academy of Sciences and fabulous on an international scale, which recognizes outstanding design and quality.
The Qurio faced nearly 10,000 competing entries from numerous countries and regions. Deisnged at the Chery Design Center Shanghai, the Qurio is described by Chery as a ‘playful’ EV, mixing nostalgia with warm tech: emotive LED headlights that wink, haptic steering that ‘sings’, and an AI ‘sidekick’ which ‘nudges you toward hidden cafes’. There’s a solar roof, and ‘candy-coated recycled materials’ in an interior ‘sculpted by dynamic, free-flowing lines that pulse with energy, approachability, and futurism’.
