SphereOptics are expanding their range of services and, since the end of January, have been offering recalibration for light measuring devices from their partner, International Light Technologies (ILT) in their own laboratory in Herrsching, near Munich.
With the launch of the new calibration laboratory, SphereOptics now offer professional recalibration services for a wide range of light measurement devices, including spectrometers, spectroradiometers, radiometers, photometers, luxmeters, and UV meters. The service is available to companies throughout Europe, and is performed in accord with GLP (good laboratory practice) guidelines.
All calibrations are performed to ILT’s original factory standards under ISO/IEC 17025:2017. The laboratory has state-of-the-art calibration equipment including monochromators; UV, VIS, and IR light sources, photodetectors, lamps, filters, and reflection standards. All reference devices are used exclusively for laboratory and comparative measurements, to ensure maximum accuracy and NIST traceability (National Institute of Standards and Technology), thus the calibrations meet international quality requirements. The underlying standards ensure that measurement data and calibration certificates are recognized worldwide and meet the requirements of demanding quality management systems.
The on-site calibration services cover almost all ILT devices. Calibrations for third-party devices are available on request.
