Chery Group’s annual SUV sales in 2025 exceeded 2.31 million vehicles, securing the title of global sales champion for Chinese brand SUVs.
Among these, the Tiggo 7 was crowned the export champion in the Chinese brand A-segment conventional-fuel SUV category for the fourth consecutive year. Since its launch, the Tiggo 7 series has been sold in over 100 countries and regions worldwide, with more than a million Tiggo 7s sold around the world. The Tiggo 8 series once again claimed the title of sales champion for Chinese brand mid-size SUVs in 2025, and led the sales of domestic conventional-fuel mid-size SUVs for ten consecutive months.
In 2025, Chery Group exported over 1.34 million vehicles, with exports in December alone exceeding 144,000 units. The cumulative export volume has now reached 5.85 million vehicles, simultaneously setting three new records for monthly, annual, and cumulative exports by a Chinese automaker. The Group has maintained its position as the top exporter of Chinese brand passenger vehicles for 23 consecutive years and became the first Chinese brand to surpass 5 million cumulative exports. On average, one out of every five Chinese vehicles driving on global roads is a Chery.
According to information obtained by IT Home, Chery’s total sales in 2025 reached 2.63 million vehicles, an 8-per-cent increase compared to 2.44 million in the same period of 2024. The sales figures for each brand in 2025 are:
• Chery brand: 1,700,940 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 6 per cent.
• Exeed brand: 120,369 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 15 per cent.
• Jetour brand: 622,590 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 10 per cent.
• iCAR brand: 96,989 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 47 per cent.
• Luxeed brand: 90,493 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 56 per cent.
