Antolin have appointed of Emma Antolín Granet as the company’s new Executive Chair. At the same time, Ernesto Antolín Calzada has been appointed Vice-Chairman, joining the board as a representative of his family branch. The appointments, unanimously approved at the Board of Directors, are intended to advance Antolin’s transformation and usher into a new phase aligned with a new strategic plan to be led by the Chair.
After 10 years as Chairman, Ernesto Antolín Arribas will step down from executive responsibilities to concentrate on supporting the company’s institutional affairs and their national and international representation. The Board of Directors, together with the new chair, expressed their gratitude for Ernesto’s effort and dedication during his tenure, which significantly strengthened the company’s competitive position.
Emma stated, “I am grateful for the confidence placed in me by the Board of Directors, and I take on these new responsibilities with great determination. Over the past several years, I have witnessed firsthand the strength of this Company and the talent of our people. My priority is to continue consolidating our market leadership position and delivering sustainable, long-term growth. I would also like to thank Ernesto Antolín for his work, strong commitment and dedication during the past years at the helm of the Company”.
Emma has served as a member of the Audit Committee and the Nominations and Remuneration Committee. She oversees the group’s transformation from the board, with a particular focus on financial strategy. Her CV includes Executive Chair of Injat Investment Office, the office of her family branch. With more than 14 years’ experience at the company, she combines professional activity with support for other business ventures. She is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Fundación CYD.
Emma holds a degree in psychology from the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca, and an MBA and a master’s in financial management from IE University. She also has completed specialist programmes in finance, negotiation, and family business at Cambridge University, Harvard Business School, INSEAD, and IMD, among others.
