Tatsuta Electronic Materials exhibited at Automotive World 2026, which was held at Tokyo Big Sight from 21 to 23 January. At the show, the company displayed their new approach to heat management for LED lamps.
Heat sinks are essential to combating the deleterious effects of heat on LEDs. Extruded aluminum, copper, and active-cooling heat sinks with built-in cooling fans all add mass, bulk, and cost to lamps. Tatsuta’s new solution involves attaching a heat-dissipation sheet to the LED board. This hybrid product has excellent heat- dissipation performance, as well as shielding properties. 4The heat dissipation sheet layer comes in three thermal conductivity types: 5, 7, and 10 W/m・K.
