At the IAA in Frankfurt, Valeo are showing new technologies to make tomorrow’s cars smarter, more intuitive, and cleaner. With sustained investment in research and development—a total of €1bn in 2012—Valeo will be focusing their innovations on support for development of intelligent, increasingly-autonomous and –connected cars in the coming years, including:
Valet Park4U ® : Unveiled for the first time at IAA, this innovation transforms vehicles into their own automatic valet. Valet Park4U ® allows the driver to leave the car at the entrance of a car park and let the car find a suitable space to park itself.
The driver activates the fully automatic parking feature remotely using a smartphone. Similarly, the smartphone is used to call the car for pickup at the parkade exit.
BeamAtic Premium ADB : This glare-free full-LED smart lighting system allows the driver to roll with high beams in all circumstances without ever blinding other motorists. Already series produced in its xenon version for the new Volkswagen Golf 7, BeamAtic Premium ADB adds up-to-date LED lighting.
