Lighting specialist Hella and caravan manufacturer Hobby have joined forces to develop a new LED lighting concept for the Premium Caravan series. Hella’s “glowing edges” technology, until now available only in the luxury passenger car segment, can be found for the first time outside original automobile equipment in the new Hobby Premium Caravan.
Tail and stop lights are combined in a multi-function light; stylistic elements merge into one another in the chrome brace in the middle of the caravan. The “glowing edges” technology used in the LED gives the rear an unmistakable appearance. Combination rear light and stop light are conventionally installed behind a clear cover lens with innovative frost structure.
The supplemental high-level HMSL ensure additional safety. They have three parallel 3D plastic prism rods installed in the light lens. This innovation allows for the development of extremely flat lights which can be used to highlight striking vehicle contours. Moreover, a LED position light in the daytime running light optic embellishes the vehicle’s front signature.
