Corning partnered with Visionox to co-develop a ‘Living Hinge Dynamic Cold Bending’ AMOLED display for premium in-vehicle design. The product features two 14.2-inch AMOLED panels covered by a single piece of Corning Living Hinge™ cold-formed glass, with a bending radius of 160mm. This allows the display to achieve extreme curvature and exceptional durability under dynamic bending conditions.
The display can elegantly bend backward when stowed, conforming precisely to the curved interior design and saving cabin space. During use, it smoothly unfolds to present an optimal viewing angle perfectly aligned with the driver’s line of sight, improving information readability and resultant driving safety.

HKC also collaborated with Corning to introduce a 10.1-inch smart surface display for rear armrest applications, addressing the growing demand for premium rear-seat solutions. The smart surface cover glass developed by Corning combines high strength, durability, and a metallic finish to achieve a refined, integrated design.
This innovative structural glass achieves over 70-per-cent light transmittance, improving brightness while reducing power consumption. Coupled with a high contrast ratio of 1000:1, a color gamut of 0.75× NTSC, and peak brightness of 1,000 nits, this display delivers exceptional usability and a premium in-cabin experience for users.
Tianma Microelectronics collaborated with Corning Incorporated to launch four co-developed innovative automotive display products. One of them is the Flowing Cloud Curved Center Stack Tianxuan Display shown here:

With a J-shaped extreme curvature specifically designed for center consoles, it uses Corning’s ColdForm™ cold-bending technology. Featuring a bending radius of 35mm and a bending angle of up to 150°, it presents an inwardly-concave J-shaped display interface, perfectly meeting the streamlined design requirements of automotive interiors.

Then there’s the Tianxuan Panoramic Visual Window Screen: a 49.6-inch panoramic immersive screen with a 1.25-meter, c-shaped, ultra-wide curved form. It’s designed to achieve seamless integration of the instrument cluster, central control, passenger display, and rearview mirror. With Corning’s cold-bent cover glass, the reflectivity on the outer surface is reduced to as low as 0.2 per cent, significantly improving display quality.

The Tianxuan Flowing Cloud curved center control screen is Tianma’s first 43.7-inch curved, irregularly-shaped IRIS PHUD+ miniLED head-up display. It achieves a local peak brightness of 10,000 nits, 90-per-cent UI image uniformity, and a color gamut of 0.85× NTSC. With Corning’s ColdForm™ cold-bending technology, the module’s reflectivity is reduced to just 1 per cent, effectively nullifying ambient-light interference. The ‘unified black’ effect ensures the display module remains perfectly concealed.
Finally, the Light-Invisible™ Smart Adjustable Window:

Co-developed by Tianma, Corning, and Tonly, this 34-inch demonstrator shows a technology designed for automotive rear-side privacy windows. It uses Corning’s ColdForm™ cold-bending technology with Tonly’s low-temperature PVB cold-bending assembly process, balancing privacy and optical comfort with convenience, safety, and aesthetic appeal.
