Nissan’s Chinese joint venture, Dongfeng Nissan Passenger Vehicle Company (DFN), announced at the Guangzhou Motor Show that they will launch the Teana equipped with Huawei’s latest cockpit system, HarmonySpace 5.0, in all grades of the Teana in China.

About 90 per cent of the interior is made up of soft padding, and ambient lighting can be set to any of 256 colors. Touch operation on the large display and high-precision voice control throughout the vehicle provide the comfort of a ‘mobile smart home’.
The cabin offers a spacious and comfortable interior, both front and rear, and the seats offer special spinal support. They are ventilated, with memory and massage functions, as well as an infinitely adjustable footrest.

It’s the world’s first combustion-engine vehicle to come standard with HarmonySpace 5.0, and it has an in-car system that can be used like a smartphone. It has a class-leading 15.6-inch Huawei ‘Intelligent Display’, an AI voice assistant that enables highly accurate voice recognition, and it supports OTA updates.

The car comes standard with a 15-speaker sound system (17 speakers in the top-of-the-line model) developed in collaboration with Huawei Sound. All doors feature double-layered ‘silent glass’, providing a theater-like quiet space even at high speeds.
