On 9 February, Tongbao Optoelectronics announced and initiated their new share subscription arrangements on the Beijing Stock Exchange.
The company position themselves as an automotive electronic component manufacturer. Their main activities include R&D, production, and sales of components including lighting systems, electronic control systems, and energy management systems. They have been recognized as a national-level specialized and sophisticated ‘Little Giant’ enterprise, and they host the Jiangsu Provincial Automotive LED Module Engineering Technology Research Centre. The company’s LED lamp modules were included in Jiangsu Province’s key promotion and application catalog of new technologies and products in 2024.

The company have built their foundation on vehicle lighting systems, and have long served well-known vehicle and component manufacturers. Their products have been applied in numerous popular vehicles from the likes of SAIC-GM-Wuling, GAC Aion, GAC Trumpchi, Dongfeng Nissan, and SAIC Volkswagen.
From 2022 to 2024 and into the first half of 2025, Tongbao reported operating revenues of C¥390m, C¥529m, C¥588m, and C¥329m, respectively. Net profits attributable to the parent company’s shareholders were C¥36.6929m, C¥62.2485m, C¥83.0935m, and C¥33.4505m, respectively.
The prospectus indicates that Tongbao expect their full-year operating revenue for 2025 to reach C¥717m, a year-on-year increase of 21.94 per cent. However, the net profit attributable to the parent company’s shareholders is projected to be C¥80.0516m, a decrease of 3.66 per cent compared to the previous year.
