Philippe Aumont has passed away.
Philippe, my friend, my colleague, my teacher, my student, my workmate, my brother at heart, a loyal companion, an admirable man, of rare kindness, and great humanity for almost 10 years has passed away..
It is difficult for me to find the right words to express how I feel since his wife Mary told me of his passing.
His departure has left a huge void.
After spending 7 years at Johnson Controls, Philippe shifted to Faurecia, now Forvia, becoming CTO of Faurecia Automotive Seating, before integrating DVN as manager of the “Interior Vehicle” activity.
What a joy it was to convince him to work for DVN. He created the interior vehicle activity, working hard to make this difficult business a success.
Always kind, always willing to help, never saying no.
He succeeded in creating within Interior Vehicle what DVN achieved in lighting: a true community that enabled the business to progress while offering a pleasant working environment combined with efficiency.
This is a great loss for me, but also for the vehicle interior community.
We will never forget what you have done for the community and your attitude: serenity, understanding, and respect for colleagues and customers
All the DVN team members join me to present their condolences to Mary the wife and to the family of Philippe Aumont, a great Personality.
