Several listed lighting companies, including Xingyu and Shenzhen MTC have actively made arrangements in different fields by successively establishing new companies, demonstrating a strong development trend and diverse business expansion directions.
On 16 September, Chongqing Xingyu Automotive Lighting Co was established with a registered capital of C¥100m. They’re located in Chongqing, with business scope of manufacturing lighting fixtures, intelligent vehicle-mounted devices, electronic components, and automotive parts.
Xingyu will build an intelligent automotive vision system research and production base in Shapingba District in phases. The first phase of the project includes plans to invest C¥1bn, primarily focused on the production and manufacturing of vehicle lighting, with an expected annual output value of over C¥3bn by 2029.
Meanwhile, Jiangxi MTC Zhixian Circuit Co was established on 3 September with a registered capital of C¥300m. Its business scope includes the manufacture of electronic components.
Shenzhen MTC possesses a complete LED industry chain. Their wholly-owned subsidiary MTC Jingxian has completely independent advanced display technology and processes, which they describe as making them one of the largest COB panel manufacturers.
Previously, another subsidiary – MTC Semiconductor – announced they had successfully completed verification of automotive gallium nitride vertical LED chips and were set to enter mass production. This, they say, makes them one of the two mainstream Chinese LED chip manufacturers to have mastered automotive-grade vertical structure technology.
