Nanovents has just joined the DVN lighting community. They develop and manufacture PFAS-, PFOA-, and PTFE-free venting elements for vehicle lighting and electronics, based on patented multilayer nanomembrane technology. These multilayer constructions are engineered for ventilation, pressure equalization, moisture vapor permeability to reduce condensation, and protection against external environmental impacts.
Multilayer designs are used to enhance the performance of nanomembranes, which on their own at a basis weight of just 0.2–6 g/m2 exhibit very limited mechanical strength. By combining these membranes with rigid structural layers and incorporating the latest high-tech nanotechnology options to multiply efficiency and functionality, they create advanced, functional, and highly durable multilayer systems tailored for demanding applications.

NanoVents’ patented nanomembrane-based solutions provide effective vapor permeability, ventilation, pressure equalization, and long-term ingress protection, all without the use of perfluoropolymer compounds, either in the final product or during manufacturing.
The company’s zero-PF technology meets standards of safety and sustainability, and is fully compliant with EU REACH and US EPA PFAS upcoming regulations (effective 2026).
They are proposing different type of applications with different venting properties and different sizes, with development and production in Czechia.

Welcome to DVN, NanoVents!
