The ISELED Alliance, founded at Electronica 2016 with the aim to build an ecosystem focussing on innovative digital LED technology, is growing—fast. At its founding in autumn 2016, there were five members. By November 2018 there were 11, and now there are 22 member companies rannging from semiconductor manufacturers and lighting design specialists to major Tier 1 automotive suppliers. This covers the entire value chain in order to establish ISELED as a standard solution, within and beyond the automotive industry.
The new members include LED manufacturers Brightek from Taiwan and Itswell from Korea; semiconductor makers Allegro MicroSystems; German test system developer UG-System, as well as iSYS RTS from Munich for software development.
Furthermore, Germany-based Lightworks and feno, with their specialties in lighting design and the development of the corresponding electronics, also now support ISELED. Novem, experts in vehicle interior decorative functional elements, are another new member, as are the Prettl Group who offer a full range of interior and exterior vehicle lighting. So are Hella and Grupo Antolin, two leading vehicle suppliers.
