The 4th DVN Shanghai Workshop will take place on 24–25 April at the Marriott Shanghai Parkview Hotel, with the rubric Lighting Technology Evolution: New AV Functions and Impact on Regulation.
The event will bring together around 400 participants from around the world, including directors, managers, experts, researchers, practitioners, and technicians.
It will be a grand platform for digital lighting technologies with applications like ADB/glare-free high beam, projection lighting, and new AV light functions.
The regulation session chaired by Geoff Draper, GTB President will address the challenges faced by the global industry to innovate for improved safety. It will cover the status of work and progress on the two-stage GRE project to simplify the regulations, as well as the plan of the Chinese Government to simplify their own GB standards by 2020. Audi’s Wolfgang Huhn will present the next steps of the GTB WG Strategy and Varroc’s Rainer Neumann the first results of experimental studies initiated by GTB,
