Hella’s L4060 range of ø90mm headlamp modules has grown with new LED low beams.
The new LED modular headlamp is available with low beam only, or as low beam with DRL and position light. The three combined functions make the package space very small. The DRL is realised as a homogeneously-lit round ring, coördinating with the similarly-configured LED turn signal available in some of the modules. A polycarbonate cover lens gives the module optimum protection against impact from stones and fanless passive cooling reduces power consumption and improves dependability. The new module has a power consumption of 20 watts and is ECE approved and SAE certified, suitable for operation in 12 and 24 volt vehicles, and has integrated driver electronics. Existing older ø90mm halogen and HID modules can therefore easily be replaced with the new LED technology.
The L4060 LED range of modules also includes high beams, cornering lamps, and fog lamps, available with DRLs and position lamps or direction indicators.
