Building on the progressive success of the VISION congress series since 2002, SIA (French Society of Automotive Engineers) will host the 2012 VISION Congress on 9-10 October at the marvelous Palais des Congrès in Versailles.
2012 will see the progress of innovations in front-lighting with adaptive lighting systems, LEDs, matrix beams, marker lights, and night vision, in signal lighting with DRLs (intelligent signal lights, and OLEDs), and in ADAS with new sensors and detectors and also the development of virtual simulators for design and validation.
The 2012 congress will not forget to highlight affordable technologies in order to improve worldwide safety in all vehicles.
The event will bring together the 300 major players in the lighting and ADAS fields to address key topics for vision and road safety.
In addition, an exhibition and night drive tests with 25 expected prototype vehicles will take place to demonstrate many recent innovations in lighting, telecommunication and detection systems.
