At the 5th Shanghai International Auto Lamp Exhibition last month, Lite-On exhibited a series of automotive LED products and solutions including their matrix LTPA-HxS series with single chip and output up to 370 lm@1A, with each chip independently driveable. Lite-On also hastened to point out that their whole series of front lighting LEDs withstand temperatures up to 150°C and are certified to the latest regulations of AEC-Q102.

The small-sized mid- and high-power products of the 2720 series have features like compact size, high flexibility and versatile specification, making it easy to achieve high-efficiency taillights with light guides. Lite-On’s whole series of tail light products are available in five different colours (white, yellow-white, yellow, red, super red) and have different levels of brightness which greatly increases the diversity of color applications for products. Rounding out Lite-On’s exterior portfolio were innovative application solutions with mini- and micro-LED technologies. The mini-LED matrix tail light application modules to allow the tail lights to be used not only for lighting, but also for conveying more information to following drivers.
In the interior lighting sector, ambient light is receiving increasing attention by high-end automakers who regard it as an important factor in realising in-car comfort and reflecting special design of the car. Lite-On’s RGB E355 LEDs with built-in driver ICs simplify circuit design, improve flexibility of product applications, and create full-colour mixing and dynamic situation effects, presenting an exclusive cabin atmosphere.
