Ennostar announced during IAA a collaboration with Valeo to co-develop a miniLED automotive exterior matrix display. The innovation made its global debut at IAA 2025 in Munich, Germany, showcasing the combined strengths of both companies in advanced technology and market expansion.
Ennostar’s miniLED automotive exterior matrix display module delivers superior brightness of approximately 20,000 nits, contrast, and resolution, along with excellent durability and energy efficiency. Engineered for reliability across diverse weather and environmental conditions. Integrated into Valeo’s exterior digital signalling HD system, the display provides exceptional clarity and visibility – even under bright daylight – communicating charging status, vehicle information, or customized content, creating new possibilities for V2X communications, enhancing road safety, and offering a new dimension of personalization.
Ennostar highlighted that miniLED technology is set to become a next-generation V2X interface, enabling clearer communication and improving safety for pedestrians.
This collaboration also reflects Ennostar’s dual-strategy approach, which drives growth with ‘solution value-added approach’ and ‘field value-added approach’. Automotive applications are a core focus as part of their ‘3+1’ focus areas for innovation and growth. Ennostar will continue to work with tier-1s and automakers to accelerate the adoption of advanced optoelectronic technologies in vehicle lighting, displays, and sensing.
DVN remarks: Ennostar will join DVN Shanghai event on October 29/30 and a keynote speech will be done by CN Huang, VP of advanced research centre.
