Hella are launching 2014’s lighting campaign focusing on safety. For the first time, the new lighting campaign will zoom in directly on farmers, the agricultural machinery trade, and the manufacturers of such equipment. A safe working environment, thanks to top-performing vehicle lighting, is presented to these target groups.
Car drivers are directly addressed by means of the interesting slogan, “Light Is Discovery”. This concept is intended to underline that the only way to recognise road hazards early enough is by having well-functioning and correctly adjusted lighting.
The new worklight configuration tool enables various combinations of worklights to be put together and, thanks to product information and the facility of a 360° view, allows the big picture of all the possible constellations to be seen.
Furthermore the new Hella app, Worklights, is available at www.hella.com/apps . This has been developed for mobile use and facilitates selection of the worklights most suitable to the needs at hand. After the user has selected a vehicle type from a choice of seven different models, the possible installation positions appear. The app will then automatically suggest the right worklight for each position, including all relevant information in detail. By means of a simulated driver’s cab of an agricultural machine, the user is also given the chance of testing a variety of lighting technologies (LED, HID, Halogen) with a viewing panorama of 360°.
