Two lidar companies, Innoviz and Robosense, announced that their solutions have been honoured with CES 2019 Innovation Awards.
RoboSense’s RS-IPLS system is based on high-performance MEMS solid-state lidar with the highest resolution colour point cloud data created by merging the underlying 2D imagery hardware with the unique RoboSense deep learning sensing algorithm developed specifically for autonomous driving. In October 2018, RoboSense obtained USD $45m in strategic financing from Alibaba’s Cainiao network and some of China’s top automakers. RoboSense have adhered to their underlying core technology innovations including chips, lidar sensors, and intelligent sensor systems that incorporate AI aware algorithms.
Israeli lidar developer Innoviz were awarded Best of Innovation at the event with their InnovizOne automotive-grade solid-state lidar and computer vision software.

The company have expanded their presence in America, China, Japan, and Europe by partnerships with Tier 1s including Aptiv, Magna, HiRain, and Samsung-Harman.
