Hella will bring their innovation mentorship and investing services to China in hopes of incubating startups with worthwhile technologies and cultivating teams with entrepreneurial spirit. Hella Fast Forward Shanghai, Hella’s Chinese innovation centre, is established in Shanghai. Frank Petznick, Hella China’s Executive VP for Electronics, attended the opening ceremony together with Xu Jian, Executive General Manager of Shanghai International Autocity Development.
Petznick said “Making efforts to seek for innovative growth, technologies as well as solutions full of local characteristics in China, Hella will contribute to the technology transformation and upgrading of China’s auto industry by actively participating in and utilising China’s entrepreneurship and innovation strategy. Hella is willing to guide and help China’s innovation teams to achieve auto-level technology R&D, enabling them to enter and serve the auto market”.
