Four Takeways From Geneva
The 87th Geneva International Motor Show had registered more than 690,000 visitors as of two hours before it ended on Sunday evening—a grand success for sure. The show involved a Car of the Year award for the Peugeot 3008, and presentation of 175 new models and concept cars to a gathering of 10,700 media representatives from all over the world. Visitors had the pleasure of viewing more than 900 exciting vehicles on display within the framework of what has become the largest event in Switzerland.
As at previous Geneva shows, there wasn’t much promotion about lighting in car makers’ booths or press releases—though there were many interesting front and rear lamps equipping the new production and concept cars on display.
DVN’s high-resolution pictures from the show are available on our website.
The four takeaway points we retain from my visit are:
Use of front and rear lamps in the concept cars to accentuate the signature of the brand
