Ford CEO Mark Fields says 2015 will be “a breakthrough year” for Ford after a large number of vehicle launches trimmed profit margins in 2014.
At the forthcoming DVN Workshop near Detroit next month, GTB President Geoff Draper will lead a panel discussion including eight eminent experts representing regulators, researchers, vehicle and equipment manufacturers and standardisation boards.

Key questions Draper’s panel will address include how regulatory systems based on self-certification influence the formulation of lighting-related technical provisions, what aspects of the UN (ECE) system are unacceptable in self-certification regions, and how we can move forward to synchronise provisions despite the differing legal structures.
