Maurizio Martinelli hold a master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering/Aerospace Systems from the Politecnico of Milan University. In 2008 he was appointed Vice President of the Engine Cooling Branch, and then from 2010, VP of the Thermal Powertrain Systems Product Group. In 2011, on top of this assignment, he was appointed Group President Italy and Group Customer Director for Fiat-Iveco.
In October 2012 he returned to the lighting business as Vice President of Valeo Lighting Systems Product Group, then he was nominated as President of the Visibility Systems Business Group, including wipers and lighting systems. He generally does not grant interviews, but graciously agreed to talk with DVN.
