There were a lot of partner announcements coming out of Nvidia’s GTC conference with new DRIVE Hyperion customers including BYD, Nissan, Geely and Isuzu. Nvidia is also partnering with rideshare services including Uber and Bolt to launch robotaxi services based on its technology. Hyundai and Kia broadened their strategic partnership to accelerate L2 and L4 deployment based on Nvidia’s hardware and Motional software.
DVN’s AEB Workshop in Detroit was a big success, with presentations from Stellantis, Valeo, Marelli, MN DOT, and various sensor manufacturers covering IR and Radar. Of course, the system is not complete without AI software and Perciv.ai and Autoware provided insights into some of the latest developments. A full report of the event is available separately. In this month’s newsletter, Dr. Dickmann tests Mercedes’s latest L2++ vehicle and reports from Tech.AD in Berlin.
We have upcoming events in Shanghai and Stuttgart and are looking for speakers and exhibitors. Please see our website for more details and reach out to me if you are interested.
