DVN’s Dr. Dickmann recently took a ride with Wayve’s VP of Hardware, Dan McClosekey, in Stuttgart to see how their robotaxi prototype performs in a mix of German urban, rural and highway traffic. The system works on 360 degree camera input today, with forward facing radar. Wayve looks promising and the company has recently signed an agreement with Nissan to integrate the Wayve AI driver.
