Gentex will supply auto-dimming mirrors with advanced electronic features for the Toyota Venza crossover sedan. Gentex’ SmartBeam® automatic headlamp beam control is a camera-driven system which automatically turns a vehicle’s high beams on and off according to prevailing traffic conditions. The system optimises forward lighting of a vehicle and liberates the driver from turning the high beams on and off manually. Venza is the first Toyota vehicle to feature this technology. Gentex‘ interior auto-dimming mirror with a compass display comes as a standard fitment in all Venza models. The compass features a highly accurate sensor which determines the vehicle’s directional heading.
