New Moulding Technique from Mazda

Mazda have announced a nearly-ready new technique in Japan that reduces consumption of plastic resins by 20 to 30% and also cuts vehicle plastics weight.

The new technology potentially can be applied to nearly all plastic parts used in vehicles. Further details are expected once the technique is ready for application to volume production.
