The headlamp has been announced now for almost a year. However, only now can you actually purchase a set with your new R8. For a mere 3590€ you get LED technology for low beam, high beam and indicator – altogether 24 LEDs. The supplier is Automotive Lighting.
As already noted in www.DriverVisionNews.com, Hella will be supplying the full LED headlamps for GMs Cadillac Escalade.
Last year already the Lexus LS 600h was the first car with an LED low beam manufactured by Koito.
