In keeping with tradition the top vehicle of from the Mercedes tuning stables of AMG rely on established optical tuning effects. A black bezel for the headlamp and black and chrome ring around the fog lamp gives the SL 63 AMG a look not unlike Captain Sparrow from the Pirates of the Caribbean. The headlamp bezel matches the black painted radiator grill.
The fog lamps are intentionally moved as far to the outside as possible to underline the width of the premium roadster.
