OPmobility has been awarded a major contract for its integrated One4you offer by Stellantis in Europe. With this award, OPmobility will supply a fully integrated rear module – bringing together the rear bumper and an innovative thermoplastic tailgate with built‑in lighting – for the next generation of an electric SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle).
This contract confirms the success of OPmobility’s One4you offer, with 10 awards with several OEMs signed in 2025 across all key regions of the world, the first year of its effective rollout. This high-level integration approach enables OPmobility to effectively introduce a plastic tailgate system on a B segment vehicle – a first in this category.
The rear system brings gains particularly to electric vehicles thanks to its lightweight thermoplastic design that improves aerodynamic efficiency and enables a 20% reduction in CO2 emissions compared with a steel solution.
This One4you offer combines OPmobility expertise in exterior body systems, lighting, modules and their software development entity called OP’nSoft. This integrated approach is also targeting design flexibility and shorter development time.
