Nichia’s Cube Direct Mountable Chip has won the Innovation Award at LightFair, in the LED Chips & Modules category.
The Innovation Awards committee choose innovative technologies and outstanding achievements in the lighting industry, and present the awards at LightFair, the premier biennial architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference.
Cube Direct Mountable Chip is an LED that realizes a horizontal light distribution by combining Nichia’s expertise and technology in phosphors and LEDs cultivated over many years. The strong horizontal light is effective to realize thinner and lighter weight fixtures, as well as to reduce building materials. It creates a soft, low-glare light.
